New Dubai bus routes to launch in January

  DUBAI – Two new bus routes will be launched in Dubai on January 1 to service the Dubai Media City and Expo 2020 Dubai site, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The bus routes are F45 and F56. Details below: Bus Route F45 Route: Al Furjan Metro Station to Discovery Gardens and Al Furjan neighbourhoods Frequency: Every 20 minutes Bus Route F56 Route: Dubai Internet City Station to Knowledge Park, Media City and American University Dubai, connecting passengers to Dubai Tram on Al Sufouh “The new routes are an important addition to Route 2020 of the Dubai Metro, which makes mobility through public transport in the emirate the ideal choice for residents, visitors and tourists coming to Dubai from all over the world,” said Adel Shakeri, director of planning at RTA. Meanwhile, two bus routes will also be discontinued starting on January 1.
