5 acts to get you fined Dh50,000 in UAE

DUBAI - A hefty fine of Dh50,000 will be imposed on top four violations under the UAE’s safety measures against the spread of coronavirus. What are these violations? Ignoring instructions of home quarantine, avoiding a repeat test for Covid-19, refusing to be hospitalized, refusing to take prescribed medicine and violating coronavirus measures in supermarkets, stores, gyms, parks and beaches. At least four people have been fined Dh50,000 for flouting the rules, according to the UAE Attorney General, which released the violators’ names and photos this week. The four who were fined Dh50,000 included UAE national KH.M, who violated home quarantine orders. People who test positive for Covid-19, or who have been in close contact to someone who has contracted the coronavirus, must stay home and self-isolate until their next test. They are also required to wear electronic wristbands to monitor that they are following quarantine requirements.
