Asian murderer arrested within 3 hours using AI

The police arrested an Asian man for murder after killing his colleague over the Dh60 dispute. The Investigative team of Al Rifa'a police station was able to arrest the perpetrator, who fled the crime scene within three hours using artificial intelligence techniques and cameras. The case followed after the police received a report about a person stabbed to death on the street. According to Colonel Omar Mohammed Bin Hammad, Director of Al Al Rifa'a police station, the victim died after sustaining stab wounds in the chest by a knife. The police conducted immediate action to pursue the suspect, who fled the scene to escape and managed to arrest him using AI. "AI techniques and modern cameras add to the efficiency of the investigation team. The accused had been arrested in a building far from the scene," Col. Bin Hammad said. During interrogation, the man admitted he had a dispute with the victim over Dh60 and had bought a knife to threaten him. However, things escalated, resulting in the death of the victim. After confessing the crime, the Dubai Police referred the case to the Public Prosecution for further legal procedures. RZSP/Expat Media
