Beneath the busy streets of International City, one of Dubai’s most ambitious transport projects is rapidly coming to life.

Set to become the largest underground interchange station in the Dubai Metro network, the future International City 1 station is designed to move hundreds of thousands of passengers each day while redefining the way people travel across the emirate.

During a recent site visit, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed the progress of the Dubai Metro Blue Line, where construction has already reached 20 percent completion. Read the full story
