Jetman stuntman dies in Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan posts tribute   DUBAI – Tributes poured in after a French Jetman stuntman died in a training accident in Dubai on Tuesday (November 17). Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, posted a tribute to Vince Reffet on his Instagram stories. Reffet, 36, was killed in a training accident at the Jetman training center in the desert outside Dubai. An investigation into the accident is underway. Reffet was a member of the XDubai team who performed stunts on the Dubai skies while using jetpacks and carbon fiber wings. "It is with unimaginable sadness that we announce the passing of Jetman Pilot, Vincent (Vince) Reffet, who died this morning, 17 November, during training in Dubai," Jetman Dubai said in a statement on Instagram. "Vince was a talented athlete, and a much-loved and respected member of our team. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and all those who knew and worked with him. "We are working closely with all relevant authorities and ask that you please keep Vince's family in your thoughts and prayers." The Jetman team, which includes Frenchman Fred Fugen and Emirati Ahmed Al Shehhi, have carried out stunt flights in Dubai and around the world. In February, Sheikh Hamdan praised the team for reaching 100 percent autonomous human flight.
