Filipino restaurant chain Razon’s of Guagua in the UAE has launched a new addition to its Summer Coolers lineup just in time for the peak summer season: the Mango Macapuno. The newest dessert drink combines layers of sweet ripe mangoes, tender macapuno strings, finely shaved ice, creamy milk and a scoop of mango ice cream, creating a distinctly Filipino-style summer treat aimed at cooling diners down during the UAE heat. The Mango Macapuno joins Razon’s of Guagua’s bestselling traditional Halo-Halo and other Filipino refreshments now available across its UAE branches. A serving costs Dh25. According to Razon’s of Guagua UAE, the summer lineup celebrates familiar Filipino flavours while introducing refreshing twists for customers looking for nostalgic desserts during the hotter months. The Summer Coolers collection also includes Traditional Halo-Halo (Dh24), KLM - Kamote, Langka at Mais (Dh24), Sago’t Gulaman (Dh16) and Mansito (Dh16). Halo-Halo remains one of the most recognisable Filipino desserts globally, traditionally made with shaved ice, milk, sweetened fruits and beans, topped with leche flan, ube or ice cream. Variations such as Mango Macapuno and KLM continue to gain popularity among younger Filipino diners and multicultural audiences in the UAE. The summer coolers are available at all Razon’s of Guagua UAE branches located in Karama and Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai, and Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi. With temperatures across the UAE expected to rise further in the coming weeks, Filipino restaurants and cafes have begun rolling out seasonal cold treats and dessert beverages catering to residents looking for familiar comfort food during summer.
