When Pearl Mendoza Banga first landed in Dubai in 2017, she wasn’t sure if the city was the right one for her. Her early years were marked by unpaid salaries, unstable employers, and visa struggles that would make anyone want to give up. “There was a time I had to wait three months to get paid,” she recalls. “Either I wasn’t paid on time or didn’t get a visa. I thought Dubai wasn’t for me.” Pearl’s career path shifted when she joined a travel agency — her first taste of an industry she’d grow to master. The same challenges that nearly drove her to pack up and go home on her first years in Dubai became the foundation for the success she’s now known for. Today, Pearl is the Business Development Manager of Fast Visa Run, a Dubai-based travel and visa company that has become a trusted name among expats. She’s the brain behind the company’s operational framework, responsible for transforming it from a small transport outfit into a thriving travel and tourism agency that just celebrated its fifth year in the UAE.

Mission possible

Having gone through visa runs herself, Pearl knew firsthand how stressful and confusing the process could be. She made it her mission to make Fast Visa Run the kind of company she once needed: credible, transparent, and compassionate. “Many people think visa approvals are guaranteed,” she explains. “But sometimes applications get rejected because of government restrictions or missing requirements. We always make sure clients understand that, and we set the right expectations.” Under Pearl’s leadership, the company has helped thousands of expats renew visas, clear absconding cases, and even bring their family members to the UAE through packages like their popular Manila-to-Dubai Visa Combo. “Fast Visa Run is by Filipinos and made for Filipinos,” she says proudly. “We’re globally capable with a Filipino heart.” As Fast Visa Run turns five, Pearl’s eyes are on expansion — and empowerment. “I want to make it even bigger in the next five,” she shares. “My plan is to open branches in other emirates and help more expats have secure jobs.” CAM/Expat Media
