Philippine consulate in Dubai temporarily closed due to Covid-19 risk

  DUBAI – The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai closed on Sunday (January 17) following “possible exposure to Covid-19”. In an announcement, the Philippine mission said that the consulate will remain closed until Monday to “undergo extensive sanitation procedures after possible exposure to Covid-19”. The consulate also advised anyone who visited the premises on Sunday to “get tested for Covid-19 as soon as practicable”. The consulate did not give further details about the possible Covid-19 case.
