DUBAI – The Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Dubai (POLO Dubai) is extending its service hours on Friday (May 6) to accommodate those who secured online appointments on the day to verify their employment contracts, as well as those with confirmed flights from May 7 to 10. POLO Dubai open to walk-in applicants with confirmed flights

POLO Dubai also told Expatmedia.net on Wednesday (May 4) that it will accept walk-in applicants on May 6 for those who have confirmed flights from May 7 to 10. Walk-in applicants will be entertained from 12pm to 5pm on May 6. "No need to queue early," POLO Dubai advised. The POLO Dubai office is closed on May 7 (Saturday). As Expatmedia.net first reported, POLO Dubai is “strictly imposing a No Appointment, No Entry” policy beginning on May 4, except for those with “emergency cases” who can come to the agency a day before their scheduled flight to verify their employment contract without needing an online appointment. Household service workers and undocumented Filipino workers with no previous record with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) of their overseas employment are required to get their employment contract verified by any POLO office. A verified contract is a prerequisite to getting an Overseas Employment Contract (OEC), a document that is required for any vacationing Overseas Filipino Worker to return to their employer overseas. POLO Dubai advised customers to arrive at the office on their scheduled time, and show their confirmed appointment and ID to be allowed entry.
