4-storey building collapses, 1 killed as search continues
A four-storey building collapsed in Doha’s Bin Durham neighborhood on Wednesday (March 22), killing at least one person as searchers continued to claw through the rubble. The Ministry of Interior -Qatar has posted a press release stating that the civil defense and other relevant authorities rescued seven people in the collapsed building.According to the post, efforts are underway to ensure nobody is trapped inside the building. Although the collapsed building has gone viral on social media, there is still no explanation as to why the building collapsed. In Qatar, incidents such as building collapses are rare.
