Ras Al Khaimah is preparing to welcome 2026 with what it says will be its most spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration yet, featuring a 15-minute fireworks and drone display designed to set a new Guinness World Records title. Set against the emirate’s iconic coastline, the show will combine large-scale fireworks, illuminated drones, lasers, and synchronized music. The midnight spectacle will stretch across 6 kilometres, from Al Marjan Island to Al Hamra, and feature more than 2,300 drones, including pyro and laser drones. As the clock strikes 12, organisers say the display will culminate in the launch of the largest single firework ever seen in the emirate. Ras Al Khaimah already holds 14 Guinness World Records for its New Year celebrations, and expectations are high for another global showcase.
