Sheikh Hamdan’s letter to Covid-19 frontliners in UAE

DUBAI – Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Wednesday (June 10) posted a thank you letter to UAE healthcare workers on the frontlines of the country’s battle against the coronavirus. In a video posted on Twitter, Sheikh Hamdan addressed the modern-day heroes as his brothers and sisters. The Crown Prince of Dubai also called them “today’s finest soldiers” standing between society and the deadly pandemic. Sheikh Hamdan continued to thank the healthcare workers for putting the nation’s safety ahead of their own, calling them an “example for the heroes to come”. “With God’s grace, we will get through these times and together, we will emerge stronger and more determined to continue our journey of shaping the future. Thank you,” he wrote. He signed the letter with “Your brother, Hamdan bin Mohammed”. This isn’t the first time Sheikh Hamdan has thanked frontliners. When he visited the field hospital at Dubai World Trade Centre, he said: “We are grateful our healthcare situation is stable due to the leadership’s support, our entities’ efforts and the community’s commitment”.
