Social family robot MISA to hit UAE stores in October

  DUBAI – MISA, a next-generation social family robot, will be available in the UAE on October 20, according to developer ILife Digital. Retailing at Dh999, the robot responds to its name ‘Hey Misa’ and is considered the first of its kind. It handles task scheduling, child teaching, home automation and surveillance, eelderly care support and more. The multilingual robot understands 10 languages - French, English, Dutch, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean. iLife’s robotics team is currently developing MISA to communicate in Arabic. “It’s our vision to bring affordable and latest in robotics for homes and families. Our robotics team has designed Misa making it capable to blend right into your family as a friend, teacher, companion, cameraman, homemaker, entertainer and more - It is smart, interactive, and uniquely mobile,” said co-founder Deepak Bhatia. MISA is equipped with a range of high-tech sensors, AI, 7inch IPS display and emotional intelligence that can easily learn, teach, and interact with people.

Key features of MISA robot:

· Misa can interact socially like a human friend expressing certain emotions. It is also designed to provide personal assistance – ask information, schedule meetings or reminders, video calling, chat, etc. Misa comes preloaded with thousands of hours of safe and ad-free games, books, learning apps and videos all from top brands that families prefer and love such as Little Miss, The Moomins, Mr. Bean, Peter Rabbit, Mr. Men and more. · Misa is capable of providing support elderly by monitoring medication and alerting if meds are not taken properly. It also provides video calling or surveillance feature for expats from anywhere in the world to monitor parents who are alone. · Backed by 4 wheels and a multitude of sensors, Misa is a fully mobile robot that works in tandem with Misa Connect app, enabling users to give directions to and control the Robot remotely – making it a smart choice for home automation and remote video surveillance.
