UAE approves Dh299 million housing support for citizens

The Sheikh Zayed Housing Program (SZHP), under the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, has approved a housing aid valued at Dh298.7 million for UAE citizens. As part of the initiatives of the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this measure aims to complete all housing grant applications submitted to the program, which cost Dh2.3 billion. The housing program includes the application for house construction, completion, purchase, maintenance, and upgrade. According to Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, SZHP continued its endeavors to enhance family stability, ensure a decent living, and improve the quality of the UAE citizens. “The UAE’s wise leadership is deeply invested in the government housing sector as it helps build a cohesive society that can contribute to the progress of our nation,” said Al Mazrouei. Meanwhile, Eng Mohamed Al Mansouri, Director of SZHP, said that they have set “ambitious plans” to meet the growing housing needs of the UAE citizens by working closely with the federal and local government, the private sector, and the banking sector to achieve the plan. Al Mansouri added that the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program (SZHP) follows the steps of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, by contributing to the social well-being and prosperity of the people.
