Emirati businessman pledges 300 hotel rooms to aid UAE flood victims

Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor, a leading Emirati businessman has donated 300 hotel rooms to help in aiding families affected by the recent rain and floods in the country's Eastern regions. Al Habtoor has pledged rooms belonging to the Al Habtoor Group in partnership with the Ministry of Community Development. In a press release, the Ministry said that the donated rooms can accommodate more than 600 people. Hundreds of other hotels in Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm al-Quwain have also extended their services to help the flood victims. BKM/ Expat Media
