Motorists across the UAE will pay less for petrol and diesel in July after the country announced its first fuel price reduction in five months. The UAE Fuel Price Committee on Tuesday (June 30) approved lower retail fuel prices for July 2026, reversing four consecutive monthly increases that had pushed fuel costs to their highest levels in recent months. The new rates take effect on Wednesday (July 1). The revised prices are: • Super 98: Dh3.40 per litre, down from Dh3.95 in June • Special 95: Dh3.29 per litre, down from Dh3.83 • E-Plus 91: Dh3.21 per litre, down from Dh3.76 • Diesel: Dh3.60 per litre, down from Dh4.33 The reductions come as global oil prices eased following a fragile ceasefire in the Middle East, helping bring down fuel costs after weeks of heightened geopolitical tensions that had driven crude prices higher. Fuel prices have been deregulated in the UAE since August 2015, with rates reviewed monthly to reflect movements in the international oil market. Fuel prices in the UAE are adjusted every month based on average global oil prices, with operating costs for fuel distribution companies factored into the final retail rates approved by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. How much will a full tank cost in UAE in July?
