Dubai’s skyline is about to get a bold new addition: two 591-foot-tall towers linked by a dramatic “sky pool” atop Regent Residences Dubai. The $1-billion luxury development, set to rise above Marasi Marina, is designed to be one of the city’s most exclusive residential offerings. The highlight of the project is the 43-foot infinity pool that will connect the twin towers. However, access to this architectural marvel will be reserved for the ultra-elite—specifically, the residents of the six-bedroom, 35,000-square-foot "ultra-penthouse." “This is not just a residence; it’s a statement of luxury and ambition,” said Gerard Evenden, head of the studio at Foster + Partners, the British firm behind the design. “The dynamic twisting form and articulated facade make it a distinctive addition to Dubai’s skyline.” The Regent Residences will feature 63 luxury apartments, each occupying an entire floor with private swimming terraces. These residences are oriented to offer panoramic views of Marasi Marina and the Burj Khalifa. Prices start at $10 million, with the ultra-penthouse’s cost undisclosed. Amenities include tennis and padel courts, outdoor lounges, a private cinema, a virtual golf simulator, and an 82-foot indoor lap pool. The base podium will feature open green spaces, retail outlets, and restaurants, creating a vibrant community hub. Construction of Regent Residences Dubai is expected to be completed by 2027. The development is part of a larger transformation of the Marasi Marina neighborhood, turning it into a high-rise luxury destination along Dubai Creek. “This project encapsulates Dubai’s vision of modern urban living,” said a representative from Sankari, the developer. Foster + Partners, known for their iconic designs, has a strong presence in the UAE. The firm’s previous works include The Index in Dubai and the House of Wisdom in Sharjah.
