2 frequent Dubai transport users to win Dh50,000

  DUBAI - Do you frequently use the Dubai Metro and other Dubai public transport? You could win Dh50,000. On November 1, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will pick from a pool of most frequent riders to award Dh50,000 each to two winners in celebration of Public Transport Day. Abdullah Yousuf Al Ali, CEO of Public Transport Agency and Head of Public Transport Day Committee at the RTA, said those who qualify for the contest include users of the metro, tram, public bus, water bus and water taxi. The RTA will also run a “Scavenger Hunt” contest, with the RTA selecting 20 teams with five team members each. Each team has to work out a strategy to collect the most points as quickly as possible. Participants will need to take selfies with the name of the station in the background in seven areas: Burjuman metro station, Mall of the Emirates metro station, JBR Tram Station, Dubai Marina Water Taxi Station, Al Ghubaiba Water Taxi Station, Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, and Ibn Battuta Bus Station.
