UAE minister, businesswoman among world’s 100 most powerful women

  DUBAI - An international magazine has come up with its list of the world's 100 Most Powerful Women where two UAE women made it to the cut. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, UAE's Minister of State for Tolerance, ranked 43rd in the list of Power Women 2016. Al Qasimi led a diplomatic trip to visit Pope Francis and other dignitaries in June. She holds a Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from California State Chico and EMBA from American University of Sharjah. The second woman who was in the list is Raja Easa Al Gurg, managing director of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, who ranked 91. She was also ranked by Forbes Middle East as the second Most Powerful Arab Woman in 2015. She is a Dubai-based business leader who has also established herself as an instrumental figure in the support and encouragement of Arab women entrepreneurs. CLM/Expat Media
