2 workers buried alive in Ras Al Khaimah well

  RAS AL KHAIMAH – Two Asian workers died on Monday after they were buried in an avalanche of sand while digging a well in Ras Al Khaimah, police said. The workers were digging the well at a house in Al Gob area at around 10:30am when it collapsed. Police said the well had a depth of 20 metres. Ras Al Khaimah Police said it has recovered the bodies of the victims, aged 25 and 28. The bodies have been transferred to a forensic laboratory and an investigation is underway to find out the circumstances surrounding the incident.
