2-year-old boy selects Big Ticket Abu Dhabi for dad, wins Dh300,000

DUBAI – A two-year-old boy was the good luck charm that his father needed after he picked his dad’s Big Ticket Abu Dhabi number that won Dh300,000. Tariq Shaik from Qatar was ecstatic when he found out he won the cash prize in the weekly electronic draw on Saturday (April 23). Shaik said he has been buying Big Ticket with his friends every month in the last year. “This time, I had my two-year-old son choose a ticket number randomly and he picked the winning number. As a result of my son picking the number, I won today," Shaik said in a statement sent to Expatmedia.net. Shaik’s winning ticket no. 108475 was chosen via the weekly electronic draw. He also stands the chance to win the Big Ticket grand draw on May 3. In the meantime, what does he plan to do with this Dh300,000 windfall? “Some of my friends really needed the money so it’s perfect timing. One of my friend will use the money to help fund his sister's wedding next month,” he said. ICA/Expat Media
