A multi-vehicle crash in Oman has claimed five lives, including three Emiratis, and left 11 people injured, officials confirmed on Friday (July 11). According to Oman Police, the crash involved three vehicles and occurred around 7am on Sultan Said bin Taimur Road in Dhofar Governorate. Among the dead were two Omanis and three Emiratis. Nine other Emiratis—five of them children—were injured. The deceased were transported to Thumrait Hospital via Oman Police’s air division. This latest crash comes just a week after a deadly bus accident killed four people, including three children, and injured 12 in Izki Governorate. That incident involved a school bus that rolled over after hitting a stationary object. Authorities are urging motorists to observe safety measures and remain cautious while driving on long-distance routes, particularly during early morning hours. ICA/Expat Media
