Lost hikers rescued on Ras Al Khaimah mountain

  RAS AL KHAIMAH – Three tourists who lost their way while hiking up a mountain in Ras Al Khaimah were rescued by the Ras Al Khaimah Police's Air Wing on Sunday (July 10). Lieutenant Colonel Saeed Rashid Al Yamahi said a helicopter was dispatched to rescue the Europeans lost in Shaam area. Rescuers found two of the hikers at the mountain's peak, while a third was found at the bottom of the mountain. The hikers were in poor health and were suffering from thirst and exhaustion, police said.
