30,000 volunteers wanted in Dubai

  DUBAI - Jobs for 30,000 volunteers for the Expo 2020 Dubai have been opened to all UAE residents. The job openings for expatriates and locals alike were announced as officials unveiled a "House of Volunteers" in Jebel Ali on Monday. More than 7,000 volunteers have registered so far, said Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashemi, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau. The job doesn't offer any financial compensation, but volunteers will become the face of the region's biggest event at the Expo 2020 Dubai site. They will operate in the House of Volunteers and will be provided food and transportation. Volunteers must be 18 years old and above. Senior citizens and retired residents can also register.
