319 doctors in UAE get golden visa

DUBAI – The UAE has recognised the contribution of 319 doctors from Aster DM Healthcare, giving them the coveted UAE golden visa. The doctors, who work for Aster and Medcare hospitals and clinics in the country, were given the golden visa for their “continued contribution to the field of medicine and healthcare”. Dr. Azad Moopen, Founding Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, called it a great honour for the doctors’ efforts to be recognized with a golden visa. He said it “reaffirms our commitment to provide the best quality healthcare services to the people of UAE”. Moopen, who himself was granted a golden visa in 2019, thanked UAE rulers for the “incredible initiative which will go a long-way in creating and retaining a talent hub of science, clinical excellence, medical research and quality healthcare services necessary to further establish the region as the leading destination for medical excellence”. Aster DM Healthcare, which started with a single clinic in Dubai in 1987, has now grown into an international conglomerate of 27 hospitals, 115 clinics and 223 pharmacies in seven countries.
