3,500 jobs to open up in these UAE sectors

  DUBAI - In the next 100 days, some 3,500 job opportunities will open to Emirati jobseekers in five sectors, according to the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE). The jobs will be available in the financial, banking, insurance, retails and tourism sectors as part of the second phase of the UAE Emiratisation program. MOHRE signed a memorandum of understanding with government agencies to be able to deliver the jobs within a timeframe, according to state news agency WAM. Two thousand jobs will be available in the retail and tourism sectors, with 1,000 jobs in the financial and banking sectors and 500 in the insurance sector. "These MoUs laid the groundwork for a strategic partnership between the ministry and federal and local government departments as well as with companies operating in these sectors in order to accelerate the pace of Emiratisation," said Nasser Bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources & Emiratisation. During the first phase of the Emiratisation campaign, 5,740 Emiratis were given employment offers.
