Haze, high humidity forecast in parts of UAE
DUBAI – The weather in the UAE is forecast to remain hazy on Tuesday (June 18) as humidity levels are expected to peak at 90 percent.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the weather will be partly cloudy and hazy, with strong winds causing a dust storm that will affect visibility.
The weather bureau said that humidity levels will hit 90 percent in coastal areas, islands and internal areas, while temperatures on Tuesday will peak at 47 degrees Celsius in internal areas and dip to 24 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas.

Wednesday, June 19
Hazy in general and partly over some areas, with another slight decrease in temperatures. Fresh Northwesterly winds over most areas of the country strengthening at times over the sea, causing blowing and suspended dust and sand with poor horizontal visibility over some areas, with a speed of 30 to 40, reaching 55 km/hr. Sea will be rough to very rough in Arabian Gulf and moderate in Oman Sea.
Thursday, June 20
Hazy and partly over some areas. Clouds appear over Eastern areas in the afternoon. Moderate to fresh winds northwest and eastwards of the country, causing blowing dust and sand over exposed areas, with a speed of 25 to 35, reaching 45 km/hr. Sea will be rough in Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in Oman Sea.
Friday, June 21
Fair in general and partly cloudy over some areas, with the probability of some convective clouds formation Eastwards. Relative humidity will increase during night and early on Saturday morning over some areas with the probability of fog or mist formation. Moderate to fresh northwesterly and easterly winds, causing blowing dust over exposed areas, with a speed of 25 – 35, reaching 40 km/hr. Sea will be rough to moderate in Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in Oman Sea.
Saturday, June 22
Fair in general and partly cloudy at times, with the chance of some convective clouds formation Eastwards in the afternoon. Slight to moderate winds, freshening at times, causing blowing dust over exposed areas, with a speed of 18 to 30, reaching 40 km/hr. Sea will be moderate in Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
