DUBAI – Seven hospitals in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain were now clear of Covid-19 cases after tackling the coronavirus pandemic in the UAE. The hospitals include four Mediclinic hospitals in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, as well as Mubadala Healthcare’s Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Centre. Mediclinic's Airport Road and Al Noor hospitals in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and Al Jowhara hospitals in Al Ain resumed non-Covid services this week. Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, acting undersecretary of Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, thanked the Mediclinic and Mubadala Healthcare groups for their role in combating the coronavirus pandemic. “It is without a doubt that the national efforts and the teamwork between the public and private sector are what enabled us to face this pandemic and maintain the health and safety of all members of the community," Al Kaabi said. Abu Dhabi officials said on Sunday that new coronavirus cases in the capital have also dropped to 1 in every 100 people tested.
