Azizi Developments, one of Dubai’s leading private developers, announced plans to recruit 7,000 new employees by the end of 2025, further boosting the emirate’s job market. The announcement came as part of the company’s talent acquisition efforts, which have seen its workforce grow exponentially—from just seven employees in 2007 to nearly 36,000 professionals and construction workers by April 2025. “In the past four months alone, we’ve welcomed 1,620 new professional staff members,” Azizi said in a statement on Friday (April 18). The growth of the workforce reflects the company’s ambitious project pipeline, which includes 150,000 units under construction, the development of the world’s second-tallest tower, and a Dh2.5 billion opera house. “Our team is the cornerstone of our success, driving innovation, quality, and a customer-first approach,” said Mirwais Azizi, Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments. “This expansion reflects our sustained and growing project pipeline and the scaling of our operations to meet the rising demand from both local and international clients.” Azizi’s current workforce includes professionals from 99 nationalities, with the company planning to tap talent from European and global markets as it expands into new continents and develops its hospitality portfolio. Azizi is actively developing major communities across prime locations including MBR City, Palm Jumeirah, Sheikh Zayed Road, and Downtown Jebel Ali. ICA/Expat Media
