UAE: Authorities urge residents to join National Day Parade, take alternate routes to avoid traffic

The seven emirates will host concerts, family-friendly activities, and fireworks to celebrate the UAE's 51st National Day on December 2. The National Day parade will take place on Thursday (December 1) from 8am to 11am at the Qawasim Corniche. The parade will see military units move and the Qawasim Corniche road closed. To avoid traffic, Ras Al Khaimah Police advised drivers to take alternate routes. The police will also intensify patrols to facilitate smooth traffic flow to minimize jams. RAK Police also prepared 104 security and civil patrols to monitor security across the emirate during the events. According to a Ras Al Khaimah official, the patrols will be in parks, markets, public spaces, celebration sites, and mass gathering spots. Officials urge the public to follow the Ministry of Interior's general and traffic restrictions to maintain safety and order. All citizens and residents in the emirate are invited to attend and participate in the national march activities. The UAE is celebrating National Day from December 1 until December 4, and all public and private sector offices will remain closed to honor its people and celebrate the country's achievements.
