782 new Covid-19 cases in UAE, 1 death in 24 hours
DUBAI – Covid-19 cases in the UAE rose to a total of 877,406 after 782 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, authorities said on Thursday (February 24). According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care. The ministry also announced that one more person died due to Covid-19 complications in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country to 2,299. The health authority said that an additional 2,096 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 827,067. Across the UAE, authorities conducted 474,340 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours. The ministry stressed its aim of continuing to expand the scope of testing nationwide.
