80,000 Filipinos graduate in short courses in UAE

  DUBAI – As many as 80,000 Filipinos have graduated from short courses offered by UAE-based training centre The Filipino Institute (TFI), according to its official. At a recent press conference, TFI founder Gabriel John Rimando said the graduates attended courses offered at its branches in the UAE and the GCC in the last four years. Rimando, a Filipino accountant, opened TFI in 2015 after working in Dubai since 2007. The first training facility opened in Al Quoz. The training institute now has branches in Ajman, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait. The Filipino Institute offers 70 short courses on photography, accounting, human resources, office administration, caregiving and IT skills training, as well guitar and Arabic language classes.
