A total of 2.5 million illegal Captagon pills were found hidden in boxes of fruit in Abu Dhabi, and police have arrested three suspects in the drug smuggling bid. According to Abu Dhabi Police, the trio attempted to smuggle the illegal drugs to a neighbouring country where they planned to sell the narcotics there. Brigadier General Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, director of the Narcotics Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police, said UAE police cooperated with authorities in various neighbouring countries to track down and arrest the suspects.
