Abu Dhabi authorities began on Monday (March 11) a partial ban on trucks and worker buses on key roads during rush hour this Ramadan. According to the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in the Central Operations, the ban applies from 8am to 10am and from 2pm to 4pm in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The restriction applies to large vehicles, such as trucks and buses transporting 50 or more workers. According to police, traffic patrols will be on high alert across all roads to catch violators.
