Surface parking in Abu Dhabi will be free for the holiday from December 1 to 5 until 7:59 am. The Darb toll gate system will also be free of charge over the holiday, beginning December 1 to 5, during regular peak hours (from 07:00am to 09:00am and from 5:00am to 7:00pm). The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi declared that public bus services would operate based on the schedule that is regularly operated during weekends and official holidays. Customers' Happiness Centres around the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be closed during the holiday and reopen on Monday (December 5, 2022). Parking spaces at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be accessible throughout the official holiday, according to the announcement. In this context, the ITC advised drivers to avoid parking in forbidden places and obstructing traffic flow. It further asked vehicles to park in specified zones and to avoid parking in home lots from 9:00pm to 8:00am. The ITC added that the operating hours of public bus services in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi would be based on the timetable usually applied on weekends and holidays.
