Abu Dhabi bans workers’ buses on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street

Workers’ buses are now banned on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street in Abu Dhabi, according to Abu Dhabi Police. The ban applies to buses with a capacity of 26 passengers or more. The ban covers the area of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street between Sheikh Zayed Bridge to Sheikh Zayed Tunnel. According to Abu Dhabi Police, the ban is part of ongoing efforts to minimize accidents and decongest the busy road. Abu Dhabi Police urged bus drivers to use alternative routes, warning that smart radars will be in place to detect violators, who will also be fined. ICA/Expat Media
