Abu Dhabi boosts campaign to raise awareness of new labor laws

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has increased its efforts to raise awareness of labor relations provisions by delivering lectures in labor camps to reach the broadest possible range of workers and introduce them to the rights and obligations stipulated by the law. The measures are part of the ADJD's enhanced outreach campaign to strengthen legal literacy in light of its critical and efficient function in the legal system. The lecture also emphasized the multiple guarantees provided by the Labour Law to achieve labor market balance and the great flexibility in appointing workers in companies and establishments. The awareness-raising lecture also addressed what to do in a labor dispute, such as filing a complaint through the channels available to resolve the dispute amicably and the steps to take when the conflict remains unsettled.
