The Abu Dhabi Court for Family, Civil, and Administrative Cases ordered a man to pay Dh47,000 in service fees for a residential apartment he bought. The company maintaining and operating the residential city sued after the appellee stopped paying fees. It demanded in its lawsuit that the appellee pay Dh47,000, in addition to the lawsuit's fees and expenses, noting that he bought an apartment from it in a residential city project and agreed to pay residential city and service fees. The company said it managed, maintained, and operated the property, but the appellee stopped paying. The appellee asked for more time to contact the complainant and pay in installments, but he didn't appear in court.
