Abu Dhabi and Dubai remained the most livable cities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in 2023, according to the Economist Intelligence Unit report. This is the fifth year in a row that Abu Dhabi and Dubai have made it to the list. Abu Dhabi came in first place, while Dubai came in second place. In the global ranking, Abu Dhabi was in 75th place, with Dubai in the 76th place. The classification is based on checking the living conditions in 173 cities across five categories, namely stability, health care, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure.
