Authorities in Abu Dhabi announced that it will give a 25 percent discount on fines for housing violations when inspections are intensified in 2023. The discount can be availed if the fine is paid within 60 days of the settlement date. Inspections will take place in the first three months of 2023 to check for violations of the housing law to control overcrowding in residential areas. The Department of Municipalities and Transport recently unveiled a list of 18 violations of the housing law, which include sharing apartments or villas with bachelors.
