Security guards at a hospital in Abu Dhabi have been rewarded Dh50,000 after saving an Emirati woman who fell unconscious in the car park. Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings, gave a Dh50,000 reward for the security guards whose quick action saved the woman’s life. Burjeel Hospital told media that the 23-year-old woman had suffered a cardiac arrest in the car park. Luckily, a security officer Faizal Khan and his colleague spotted her and rushed her into the hospital just in time. The woman, identified by her initials F.A.H., is now in stable condition. Doctors said she had a critical case of pulmonary embolism, or blood clots in her lungs. “I am grateful to the Almighty to be alive. I was not feeling well but I did not expect it to lead to such a serious condition. I am thankful to the entire team at Burjeel Hospital,” the woman said in a statement.
