A hot pot restaurant in Abu Dhabi has been shut down after insects were found in the facility, and other repeated food safety violations. According to Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, four violations were issued against Happiness Grassland Hot Pot and Grill BBQ Restaurant. Restaurant management reportedly failed to take measures rectify serious violations despite repeated warnings, which led to its eventual closure. The violations included insect infestation, poor hygiene in food handling and storage, and leaving food uncovered or unprotected from contamination. ICA/Expat Media
