The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), in partnership with the Department of Municipalities and Transport, has announced a new opportunity for Emirati-owned businesses to establish car wash and service centers across Al Dhafrah and Al Ain. The bidding process opened on Friday (November 1) and aims to boost economic growth and support Emirati entrepreneurs in these key areas. To participate, businesses must be 100 percent Emirati-owned and registered with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development. The project sites include Al Marfa, Ghayathi, Liwa, Al Sila, and Al Qou, with each area strategically selected to meet the rising demand for automotive services in these regions. Bidders can download the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents on the official website: investinabudhabi.gov.ae. "ADIO is committed to supporting Emirati-owned businesses in diversifying Abu Dhabi's economy," said a spokesperson for the investment office. "This project will provide local entrepreneurs with a platform to expand their business operations, thereby contributing to the economic development of Al Dhafrah and Al Ain." Interested businesses must complete an online form as per the RFP requirements to confirm their participation. Following the initial confirmation, they will receive a submission link. Final proposals are due by 5pm UAE time on December 16, marking the closing date for all bids. The ADIO initiative aims to improve automotive services across Abu Dhabi and provide Emiratis with unique entrepreneurial opportunities.
