The next time you see a club car at a tourist spot in Abu Dhabi, don’t be alarmed. It’s a Tourist Police patrol aimed at keeping the city’s tourist spots safer than ever. The Abu Dhabi Police General Command recently launched the Tourist Police patrols in various tourist sites across Abu Dhabi. Police will be onboard club cars with the Abu Dhabi Police logo along with the tourist police logo. The Tourist Police will also be handing out awareness booklets in various languages to help tourists and residents become aware of important laws and regulations. General Muhammad Sohail Al-Rashdi, Director of Criminal Security Sector, said that the inauguration of the patrols is in line with the vision of the Abu Dhabi Police strategic plan to enable Abu Dhabi to become a global leader in maintaining security and security.
