Abu Dhabi Police has lowered the speed limit on 12 roads in the emirate as morning fog continued in parts of the emirate. The speed limit has been reduced to 80km/h on Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (Telal Sweihan-Kubri Bridge); Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road, Al Sahil Station-Hameem; Madinat Zayed-Al Mirfa; Abu Dhabi-Al Ain (Rimah-Al Khazna); Al Ain-Dubai Road (Al Jubaib-Al Hayar); Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (Al Khazna-Al Muhairi Tunnel), Al Wagan-Al Qoah Road, Ghayathi-Bida Zayed Road; Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Highway (Hameem-Al Nof), Salama Bint Butti-Liwa Street and Madinat Zayed-Ghayathi Road. The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast that fog will continue over coastal and inland areas in the evening as well as early morning, with temperatures to dip further to as low as 7°C in mountainous areas.
