The Abu Dhabi City Municipality is developing Khalifa City and opening five pocket parks. Ranim Garden, Mashtal Plaza, Himma Park, Sadim Park, and Tilal Park are the five newly constructed parks made to improve residential community life. These parks promote community participation and a healthy lifestyle in Khalifa City under Abu Dhabi City Municipality's direction. The parks will include amenities, recreational activities, and pathways for children of determination to enable full and equal access. The pocket parks include places for exercise equipment and facilities for games such as paddle tennis, basketball, table tennis, and football. For comfort and safety, the parks are designed to have an external air mist cooling system, shade umbrellas, lights, chairs, and rubber flooring. The parks also offer a safe skating area with ramps, rails, and ledges. The parks are part of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality's consistent efforts to provide residents in Khalifa City and other parts of the city with services and facilities that meet their needs to improve the community's well-being. Beginning December 1, 2022, Khalifa City residents and tourists can enjoy the new parks and facilities with their families.
