Abu Dhabi: Outdoor misting systems installed in Al Dhafra park
In the Al Dhafra park, several outdoor misting systems have been installed to counter the extreme temperature in the area. Al Dhafra Municipality stated that the cooling systems were built as part of a number of infrastructure initiatives by the Department of Municipalities and Transport to enhance visitors' experiences at the parks during hot weather. The stainless steel high-pressure units have a 20°C temperature reduction capacity. The cooling equipment is mounted on trees or is free-standing, and it has timers to reduce water and energy use when not in use.
