A man who refused to pay his daughter’s tuition will now pay a private school in Abu Dhabi Dh17,863 after he lost a lawsuit. The Abu Dhabi Court for Family, Civil and Administrative Cases ordered the man to pay the fee to the private school after he failed to pay the full year’s tuition fees. The private school had filed a lawsuit against the man, saying that he refused to pay the tuition fee despite being given a warning. The judge said that the man did not submit documents to prove that he was exempted from paying tuition fees, and also did not attend the trial to present his defence. ICA/Expat Media
