The Itiyadi Foodstuff Trading LLC in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. ADAFSA
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has ordered the immediate closure of Itiyadi Foodstuff Trading LLC in Musaffah, citing serious health and safety violations. The grocery store, operating under trade license CN-4761612, was found to be in violation of the UAE's law regarding food safety, according to ADAFSA. The decision to shut down the store followed an inspection that revealed multiple breaches of food safety regulations, including the presence of high-risk items and poor hygiene standards. Inspectors also discovered insects in the facility, which posed a direct threat to public health. ADAFSA emphasized that the closure would remain in effect until the facility rectifies its violations and meets all necessary food safety requirements. The administrative action is part of ADAFSA's broader effort to ensure that all food establishments in Abu Dhabi adhere to strict safety standards. The authority has called on the public to report any suspicious activity or violations in food establishments by contacting their toll-free number 800555. ADAFSA reassured the public that its inspectors will continue to monitor food outlets to safeguard the health of all residents.
