Abu Dhabi: Speed limit in Al Qurm Street reduced to 100km starting Monday

The speed limit on Abu Dhabi’s Al Qurm Street or Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Road will be reduced to 100km starting on Monday (September 26), according to Abu Dhabi Police. The speed limit will be enforced on the street spanning Sheikh Zayed Bridge to Qasr Al Bahr Intersection in both directions. According to the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, the reduction in the speed limit on Al Qurm Street is aimed at enhancing traffic safety. Abu Dhabi Police noted that studies show that driving within the speed limit helps avoid accidents by improving traffic flow in times of congestion. BKM/Expat Media
